About Us

The International Speedball Federation (FISB) is the world governing body for the sport Speedball, founded in 1985. It is a non-profit organisation whose goal is to promote all forms of Speedball around the world.

Founder countries: Egypt, France , Japan.
Members: Algeria, Canada, Germany, India, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland, Spain, Tunisia and the USA.

How it started...

Speedball is a ball and racquet sport invented in Cairo, Egypt in 1961 by Mohamed Lotfy for the training of beginner tennis players. Today, it is a sport in its own right, enjoying popularity not only in Egypt but in other countries. Several of these countries make up the International Federation of Speed-Ball (FISB).
